Although all spoken words are also music, those used to announce destinations and departure times in subways, railway stations and airports carry even greater musicality, conveying passengers along a veritable intonational journey.
The MetrOpera Project seeks to transform this vocal material by tapping into its major underlying musicality to produce new sounds and visual forms and, in its different productions (performances, videos, shows), highlights the many passageways between dimensions that were hitherto considered to be separate but are now reconciled: efficient informative messages and artistic content.
